Berks Competition Team Staff

Among the team staff at Berks Gymnastic Academy are some of the finest coaches in the country and throughout the world:

Head coach and owner is Mr. Rich Fiorentino. He is one of the top Age Group and Elite coaches in the country today. Mr. Rich has coached internationally in England, Scotland, and Germany. On the National Level he has coached at Championships U.S.A., The Olympic Gym Festivals, National Classics and Challenges, and many Junior Olympic Nationals.

Mr. Marty Amrich hails from Massachusetts where he was head coach and program director. Mr. “A” coaches all levels specializing in the optional levels. He has had numerous gymnasts compete at the National Levels.

Mr. Randy Roth is a National caliber coach originally from the Harrisburg area. Mr. Randy has been a head coach at other programs in the country, training gymnasts to the National Level. We are very fortunate to have him here training gymnasts at every level.

Mrs. Amy Appler-Hatlee, former Berks team member, and National Team member is now a regular member of our team coaching staff. Her endless energy and rapport with the girls is invaluable.

Jamie Vanino-Maier, a former Berks team member, was a National Competitor during her high school gymnastic career.

Ms. Jamie brings the same dedication to her coaching that she showed as a national athlete.

In her second season as a Berks Team staff member is Victoria McGuigan-Carl. Victoria was a National Competitor for the Berks Team and attended the University of Pittsburgh on a full scholarship. Victoria is strong in choreography and puts her talents to work on floor exercise.

In her third season as a team staff member is another former Berks team member, Kirstyn Howard. Kirstyn has been assigned to our compulsory levels and is becoming a valuable member of the team staff.

New this season is another former staff member, Jenna Ciatto.  Jenna was a competitive college gymnast at West Chester University.  She is currently studying for her masters degree and coaching our compulsory gymnasts between her studies.  It's great to have her energetic personality back in the gym.

New to the program is an ex student, now staff member, Tyler Bair.  Tyler brings a new level of enthusiasm to the coaching staff and we are very excited to have him aboard.

We also see invaluable help from Gina Stallone-Amrich; a former U.S.A. Team and World Championship Team member. Miss Gina is also an Elite rated judge and offers her expert advise to our staff and gymnasts.
